Pop-up dance theatre (2014)
Pop-up dance theatre for public locations and offices.
Humorous dance theater in a frantic pace depicts working life situations of collegial cooperation, competition, success, gender roles, crisis and celebration. The choreographic material is based on body language, actions and Afro Brazilian dance.
The pop-up concept is a series of works that just appear in the middle of a crowd, and then disappear. In these works Hedemyr uses only the dancers' character, movement and relationship to the space and viewers. No set design, sound or light.
