It seems to be a story about birds, but it’s just a mirror, reflecting us vulnerable but also magnificent human beings.
The great Persian epic poem Mantiq-ut Tayir was written in 10th century by the Sufi poet Farid ud-Din Attar. This is an evocative story about the birds and their flight to Simorgh, their true king. An eternal and powerful fairy tale about the longing for belonging and meaning - of hope and salvation!
